Morning coffee is religious in my campervan. When I was moving into my campervan (I’ve been full-time for 3 years) a good kettle for my campervan was essential. I scoured the internet, read all the reviews, asked other van lifers.

It also doesn’t use excessive amounts of electricity, which keeps my battery bank full for other things.

It also comes with a simple on/off switch. Once your water boils it will turn itself off automatically.

Kettle For Campervans – Electricity
It’s really difficult to heat water with a 12v appliance. It simply requires too much energy, which is why you don’t see many 12v kettle options, and why the ones they do make don’t work well.
This kettle is 110v and can also operate with regular household outlets.
It uses 600 watts, so most inverters are powerful enough to operate it.

Overall, I’m really impressed with this little kettle. It’s worked well for me for years.
Some reviewers mention that the silicone walls collapse when pouring, but I haven’t run into this issue. I do notice that when the kettle is more full this happens, but since I’m typically only boiling enough water for one cup of coffee at a time it’s a non-issue for me.
The handle and lid remain cool enough to handle when the water is hot. However, the base (the metal rim around the bottom) can get uncomfortably warm so make sure not to touch that immediately after boiling the water in your campervan kettle.
